Rev. Aaron J. Hamilton has been serving as Pastor at Concordia Lutheran Church since September, 2013. A lifelong Lutheran Christian, he was baptized in infancy and grew up on a Southwestern Michigan farm with his two younger brothers. His training began at home, and in the Sunday School at Grace Lutheran Church.
He graduated from Northwestern College of Watertown, Wisconsin, and then studied at Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary in Mankato, Minnesota. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree and was ordained into the Office of the Ministry in 1998. He served congregations in Port Orchard and Gig Harbor, Washington, and West Jordan, Utah, before coming to Concordia.
Pastor met his wife Heather during his time in Mankato, and married her in June of 1996. God has blessed Pastor and Heather with a daughter and three sons, the occasional foreign exchange student, two small dogs, and a turtle.
In his spare time, our Pastor enjoys getting a bit of exercise, reading, playing pool, watching good films, drawing plans for ecclesiastical paintings and stained glass windows, and playing guitar.
Pastor’s door is always open to you. Please feel free to contact him or drop by, any time!
